Steps New York has grown into a beloved women’s fashion retailer with a strong presence in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Texas. Following our successful launch at La Plaza Mall in McAllen, we are expanding to the Galleria, Houston and seeking enthusiastic Key Holders to help lead our team.
About the Role
As a Key Holder, you’ll support store leadership by ensuring smooth daily operations, driving sales, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You’ll assist with opening and closing procedures, lead by example on the sales floor, and help maintain our brand’s high visual and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the store following company procedures.
- Drive sales by engaging with customers, recommending products, and meeting personal and team goals.
- Lead the team during your shifts, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations.
- Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising to company standards.
- Support training of new associates and foster a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18; eligible to work in the U.S.
- Positive attitude, punctual, and dependable.
- Leadership potential and ability to motivate others.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
